My all time favorite CAKE!

~~ Chocolate Chip Cake ~~

This has been my favorite cake for awhile now...it's not a new recipe, you may have had it before, but if not, well someone needed to introduce you to it! It's very simple and if you like to bake, you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry already!

I had my cutest helper making it today....
It starts with a yellow cake mix, you have one right?

 Then add your dry ingredients...
Then add the wet ones....

Put it in the Bundt pan - Make sure you spray it well with Pam...

The hardest part is getting it out of the pan nicely...

Dust it with powdered sugar...

And DIG in!

Chocolate Chip Cake

1 box of yellow cake mix
31/2 oz. box of instant chocolate pudding
1/2 C. sugar
3/4 C. water
3/4 C. oil
4 eggs
8 oz. sour cream
12 oz. package of chocolate chips
Mix first 3 ingredients ( cake mix, pudding, and water ). Add water and oil, then mix. Add eggs one at a time while mixing, then sour cream. Stir in chocolate chips. Pour in greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes depending on your oven. Let cake cool before removing from the pan.

A couple more things...this recipe is from my best friend, Jana who lives in Missouri now. Every time I make it, I call her and chat while it is baking. It always reminds me of her and our sweet friendship...she's just one of those people who you can always count on to listen and love you no matter what! Friends like that are few and precious.

Hope you like the cake...just a warning - it's addictive! The pudding and sour cream make it extra moist....I can smell it coming out of the oven now...go on, try it out and call up your best friend while it's baking!

One last thing, we are having a contest to nominate your favorite non-profit camp this week on our face book page...we'd love to have you hop on over, like us and put in your favorite camp's name...the 2 camps with the most votes will split 100% of the Preview Party donations for the fall sale!
