Say Cheese @ the Barn!

Do we have a treat for you? Yes!!! If you are coming to the barn sale this Wednesday, April 18th, you are in for a fun and free photo compliments of Say Cheese
Misty has graciously offered this fun event for our Early Bird (1-4pm) and Get the Goods (5-8pm) shoppers complete with all the fun props! So, grab your girlfriend(s) and head on out to the barn for some sweet photo's and shopping!
Say Cheese brings the photo booth to all your fun events, from corporate, weddings, graduation parties...if you need some fun, they can help you out! Here's a little more about Misty and what kind of fun you can expect from Say Cheese!

Misty is an all-American, small-town, East Texas girl; from a night on the town in her cowgirl boots to driving her Daddy’s big green tractor on the family farm. She believes families are forever and friends make the ride more fun; and she loves both with all of her heart.  She will love Y’ALL and BLESS YOUR HEART, too.  Although we mentioned her cowgirl boots out on the town, most Saturday nights if she is not “saying cheese” she would more likely be found piddling in her favorite Target store and browsing with coffee at the local Barnes & Noble.

Misty spends her days in Room 303 at Rusk Elementary School teaching twenty-one 3rd graders to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, divide….or wash your hands, say please and thank-you, and count your blessings everyday! Being a teacher has taught Misty to laugh….laugh out loud!  Her passion goes beyond academics and dives into matters of the heart. Her goal is to have a child leave her care with a head held high with confidence and a heart full of love and compassion.  Misty has followed in her mother’s footsteps in teaching by having a passion for loving those society deems unlovable and she seems to do that very well.

Misty is defined by her passion for people; making a stranger or a best friend smile and showing God’s love to all she encounters.  So when life threw a few curve balls ….. cousin Todd Darby , The Big Cheese, knew the perfect job to get her back on her own again!  After her first few events, Misty is excited to expand “Say Cheese for Fun” to the East Texas area.  She is so excited about getting out and meeting you…..because you know what…..Life is Fun!

East Texas…..get ready to “Say Cheese”!

It's at the Barn!

We were working in the black and white part of the barn today and it's coming along....
It's is bk and white meets Pottery Barn with lots of wood and industrial items thrown in...(that is the "official description" anyways!)

Also did some work in the garden, grey and white area....
This space is very "springy" and fresh!
Love all the silver in this piece too!

Remember this piece?
Here's your hint!  The mirror swivels... Any idea's now?

I just took a few quick shots to show you some truly unique finds at the barn!
Please excuse the dust...the barn is still very much "in progress"!

Love this HUGE Strout sign...I know nothing about it, but it is large and very cool!
Your grandfather's tool chest...painted red, white and blue after WWI and WWII, and called a "Victory Chest" because we won! Anyone know more about these?
Oak Potting table...Awesome!
 Trike with attached wagon...just darling!
I want to you know what this cabinet was used for? It has a secret that would give you a big clue...
any ideas????
